Website Case Studies

Below are several of the WordPress sites I have made throughout my career in marketing. In most cases I like to use the GeneratePress ecosystem which includes a theme, premium blocks, and some cloud functionality. In my experience, GeneratePress allows you to make a fast SEO optimized website that also looks good.

The Catholic Handbook

The Catholic Handbook was a website I created in 2023 to practice my SEO skills. Since publishing the site it has garnered over a hundred thousands visits and has generated thousands of dollars in ad revenue. I do not actively maintain the site, so it is slowly losing its high search ranking but in 2023 and 2024 it performed very well.

Virgil’s Aeneid

The Aeneid is my favorite of the great epics. However, I noticed there were no good resources to read the Aeneid online. I developed this website so you could read various English translations of the Aeneid next to the original Latin. It’s a simple site but it’s already beginning to get traffic. All translations were public domain.

American Pragmatism Archive

American Pragmatism was a school of philosophy that was popular in the 1800s, which means all of their texts are in the public domain. While I am not a pragmatist, I appreciate the only school of philosophy to come from the United States, and I wanted to create an archive of their work.

Lococo Studios

Lococo Studios was a website I developed for my brother-in-law’s photography business. He needed a website that was SEO optimized for his region that could help him build authority and get leads. The website features all of his photography and is SEO optimized.

St. Isidore Institute

The Saint Isidore Institute is a prototype website I developed for a project that never got off the ground. The site was for a future 501c3 that focused on Catholic teachings with regards to technology and modernity.

They Left Their Nets

They Left Their Nets is another project that never quite materialized. It was meant to be a Catholic Nonprofit that would help young men based in the USA discern the priesthood. With the election of Pope Leo in 2025, there was a push to get more American young men into the priesthood. While this project was never completed, I think the prototype of the website is still worth showing off.
